OLD COOTS GUIDELINES

Annual dues $10.00 and are due at the Spring Meeting or players first date of play.

Tee times : 9:00 a.m. April and May

8:00 a.m. June, July and August

9:00 a.m. September and October

Please be at the clubhouse 30 minute before tee time. Teams will be assigned 20 minutes before tee time.

· Signup sheet: None

· Teams: Teams will be assigned by a random draw system, approved by the membership.

· Check in: All players should be check in at the Club House register at least 30 minutes before tee time. Fee for play is ($3.00) Take receipt to the Old Coots table in the lounge.

· All association play will be a Four man Scramble. Format for play on a specific day may be changed by majority vote of membership present.

· Winning teams will be posted 30 minutes after completion of play. Number of winning places will be determined by the number of players. All winnings will be credited to the players course account.

· All players will drive from the White Tees with three exceptions,

1. Players 70-84 years old drive from the Green Tees.

2. Players 85 years and older drive from the Silver Tees.

3. Players 70 years old and younger with a Blue Flag issued by the course pro can drive from the Green Tees if they choose to do so.

· Lie may be improved by six inches when the ball lies in the fairway. Lie may be improved by one club length when ball lies in the rough. Lie may be improved when the ball lies in an unplayable area as long as the ball is not placed closer to the green than the original lie (example grave! areas on right side of the 7th fairway).

· No gimme's. Ball must be played until it is in the cup.

· The association will pay for the members meal at the Spring and Fall meetings from the funds of the association.

· Trophies and Prizes will be presented at the Fall lunch meeting of the association. In order to attend the Fall meeting member must have played at least eight times during the season.
